Ultrasound Tech - Part-Time, Weekends

Perform sonographic procedures according to department standards in a timely and efficient manner Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures to reduce anxiety and enhance comfort Produce examinations meeting image quality standards and department protocols Submit images for physician interpretation Verify patient demographic information, clinical diagnosis, and required technical results Complete all technical data entry components before the end of shift Monitor stock supplies, reorder items, rotate dated items, and maintain clean, orderly imaging rooms Report equipment failures Support organizational changes Adhere to institutional safety procedures Participate in multidisciplinary patient care with nurses and physicians Model service principles focused on innovation, service excellence, teamwork, and high-quality patient care Requirements Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program ARDMS certification required Current BLS certification required One to three years of ultrasound experience preferred Comfortable working between our Naperville and Lisle offices Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in performing sonographic procedures while adhering to departmental standards and protocols.
