Maintenance ProfessionalWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance professional to join our team in the Transportation and Warehousing industry. As a Maintenance team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility in Joliet, IL. Your primary goal will be to maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related fieldAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a related fieldExperience with welding, electrical systems, or HVACExperience working in a transportation or warehousing environmentCertifications in maintenance or related fieldsResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, including inspections, cleaning, and repairsTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and make necessary repairsMaintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performedEnsure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policiesCollaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiencyExperience with Forklifts/CrownsAs a Maintenance professional, you will utilize your technical skills and knowledge to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. You will use your problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, and your communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other team members. Your ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics will be essential in performing routine maintenance tasks. Additionally, your experience with welding, electrical systems, or HVAC will be beneficial in this role. Overall, your skills will be critical in ensuring that our facilities operate at peak efficiency and productivity.M-F 2:30PM-12:00AM - Weekends as needed.
