Roofing Foreman

The Foreman at Herzog Roofing plays a critical leadership role on the jobsite, overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards for quality and safety, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who exemplifies professionalism, communicates effectively, and fosters a team-oriented environment. Primary Job Responsibilities: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Experience in the construction industry. Proficiency in using email and basic computer skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal and salesmanship skills. Punctuality and attention to detail. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Willing to travel. Leadership Lead by example in attendance, conduct, appearance, vocabulary, intensity, and communication. Train and mentor co-workers. Enforce company policies consistently. Promote and model company culture and values. Foster a positive and professional team environment. Project Oversight Study project plans and details daily to fully understand scope of work. Set and track daily and weekly production goals. Maintain consistent communication with the project manager on progress and expectations. Coordinate material deliveries and verify accuracy and proper staging. Ensure quality control on all work performed. Make timely field decisions and escalate issues when necessary. Accurately document change orders, production notes, and project details as required. Items noted on past year-end evaluations: "Complete as you go-100%" & "Scorecard rating of A or B."
