Description of Work The BCCCP Program Coordinator serves as a regional consultant responsible for administering and supporting public health programs within the Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program. The position provides consultative and administrative guidance to local providers, coordinates implementation of evidence‑based interventions, and ensures compliance with state and federal program requirements. Work includes reviewing program data, resolving protocol concerns, and delivering training and technical assistance across assigned regions to enhance screening access and program performance. The role operates under general supervision and requires independent planning, technical problem‑solving, and frequent collaboration with providers, evaluators, and community partners to support program objectives. Key Duties Include: Coordinate regional implementation of Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program activities by consulting with local providers on eligibility, protocols, and program requirements. Develop and deliver formal training modules and evidence‑based interventions to support provider compliance and improve screening and referral practices. Conduct technical assistance site visits, prepare written reports, document follow‑up actions, and provide ongoing support to address programmatic concerns. Review provider program data monthly to identify trends, resolve data or protocol issues, and support quality control efforts. Build regional capacity by assisting new providers with implementing tracking systems, follow‑up processes, recall schedules, and data reporting protocols. Determine and recommend education, awareness, and community development strategies to improve outreach and address identified health disparities. Collaborate with regional nurse consultants, evaluators, and partners to analyze burden data, establish partnerships, and support referral pathways for underserved populations. Utilize program data and evaluation resources to inform planning, improve interventions, and identify priority populations across assigned geographic areas. Conduct annual community‑clinical linkage assessments and local visit observations to identify successful practices that may be piloted in other regions. Perform other program coordination duties as assigned by the BCCCP Program Manager. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade Range: $47,703.00 - $83,479.00 Recruitment Range: $47,703.00 - $61,500.00 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Demonstrates expert proficiency applying public health program planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation methods, including hands‑on experience with breast and cervical cancer screening navigation, referral processes, rescreening workflows, and follow‑up systems. Provides advanced‑level training and technical assistance through direct experience developing and delivering structured modules, consultations, and evidence‑based interventions for healthcare providers and community partners. Applies intermediate proficiency in reviewing and interpreting program and performance data to identify trend patterns, compliance concerns, and actionable quality‑improvement opportunities. Utilizes expert‑level experience developing operational systems for patient tracking, referral management, follow‑up of abnormal findings, data submission, and adherence to program protocols. Demonstrates advanced skill in coordinating collaborative partnerships, implementing evidence‑based interventions, resolving programmatic challenges, and managing multiple priorities independently across a defined region.
