Overview Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (ER) — Lincoln, Maine. Travel assignment beginning 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,957–$2,108 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. Setting: hospital environment. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments for ER patients
• Develop and implement plans of care based on patient needs and physician orders
• Administer medications accurately and monitor patient responses, using the five rights and med verify
• Document patient care activities in accordance with standards and hospital policies
• Communicate patient status and any changes in plan to the care team; participate in MDT meetings and bedside rounding
• Support discharge planning and patient/family education; conduct follow-up calls as indicated

Requirements

• Current Maine nursing license or valid multi-state (compact) license
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Immunizations required: varicella (2 doses or titer), HepB (3 doses or titer or declination), MMR (2 doses or titer), Tdap, PPD 2-step or titer within past 12 months; flu shot during flu season
• Ability to perform nursing care for patients across all age groups; strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a hospital ER setting; standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs, and related physical requirements
