PUT YOUR ENDOCRINE EXPERTISE TO WORK

Step into a hands-on clinical role where you'll have the opportunity to independently assess and manage patients while collaborating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete patient histories and physical examinations
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Formulate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage medications
• Monitor treatment response and adjust therapies
• Provide ongoing Endocrinology care
• Complete consultations and progress notes
• Coordinate specialist referrals
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes and treatment
• Provide preventive care counseling
• Recognize and respond to urgent clinical situations
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Active Connecticut APRN license
• Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration
• DEA Registration
• AHA BLS
• Strong independent clinical decision-making skills
• Strong knowledge of Endocrinology disease states and medication management

Preferred: 1+ year of APP experience in Endocrinology or Endocrine Neoplasia.
