Safety Coordinator

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for handling the day-to-day administrative needs of the Safety Department. Essential Functions Orders, maintains, and tracks safety equipment and PPE usage Ensures compliance with contractor management platforms such as ISNetworld and Avetta Coordinates M&H and third party training such as Orientation, eRailSafe, and Avetta Maintains Safety and Risk Management data, information, and metrics Aids Project Managers and Estimators with safety submittals and pre-qualification questionnaires for customers Monitors internal dashboards for safety compliance including job setup, fleet telematics, and training Delivers a high level of service to employees and leaders Performs other duties as assigned Regular Job site visits Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and in accordance with Musselman and Hall policies and values Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Familiarity with (or the ability to quickly learn) OSHA and DOT laws and regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite, as well as proficiency with (or the ability to quickly learn) the organization’s ERP system and various web platforms Experience & Education Experience in workplace safety, construction experience, or education in workplace safety is preferred OSHA 30-hour or other construction safety training preferred Physical Demands The physical demands listed must be able to be met by the incumbent in this role in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to speak and hear Ability to regularly attend work in an office environment, and occasionally navigate an active job site Ability to spend prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer Other Requirements Full time hours required; most work will be performed on weekdays during normal business hours Some travel to M&H office locations and/or job sites may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr Musselman & Hall Contractors
