About This Role

We are seeking a bilingual English / Spanish Pre School / Pre- K Lead Teacher to join our strong, professional, experienced Pre School Team in an accredited school in Vienna.

We are proud of our reputation and are searching for the best to teach, be respected in the Early Childhood field and enjoy multicultural families in one of the best areas of Washington DC/ NoVA!

We are located in beautiful Vienna just blocks away from the metro link systems and easy commuting.

Are you passionate about early childhood education and bilingual instruction? Do you have a degree in early education or CDA and are fluent in both Spanish and English?

What You'll Do

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English, as well as superior classroom management skills.
  • He/She will also have the ability to solve problems and practice positive behavior guidance, produce weekly lesson plans and reporting, and provide active supervision at all times.
  • A self-disciplined and dependable team player, the Lead Teacher must be able to follow school policies and procedures and adapt to the company's needs.
  • Additional responsibilities will vary by classroom/age, and the Lead Teacher must be able to physically lift up to 35 pounds, on a daily basis and at any given time during the workday to carry and care for the children if necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will also be able to pass a criminal background check, a Child Protective Services background check, a TB test, drug screening and be willing to obtain CPR, First Aid, and MAT Certifications within 30 days of employment.
  • Teachers must be able to work from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

  • Prior classroom experience (At least one year of teaching experience)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
  • Must have Vaccination for Covid-19 and immunizations
  • Fluent in Spanish and basic conversational English
