Job Summary This is a travel nursing contract opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (LDRP) at a Critical Access hospital in Polson, MT. The position requires a seasoned traveler with recent, comprehensive experience across L&D, triage, and Postpartum care. Seasoned travelers only — this role is not appropriate for first-time travel nurses. Key Responsibilities Float between units per unit needs Provide nursing care across LDRP, including Labor and Delivery, triage, and Postpartum Maintain required patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, and 1:6 depending on assignment Participate in on-call coverage once per pay period (max PRN) Work every other weekend (typically) Required Skills Must know L&D, triage, and Postpartum Ability to float between units per unit needs Familiarity with Epic charting system Education Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required Required Experience Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP experience required Seasoned travel nurse experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered Work Environment / Physical Requirements Facility Type: Critical Access Total Staffed Beds: 22 Scrub Color: Any color; OR scrubs provided Charting: Epic Parking: No fee On-call required: Yes, once per pay period (max PRN) Weekends required: Yes, every other weekend (typically) Block schedules: Unknown Expected patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:6 48-hour shifts: Not approved COVID-19 vaccination: Not required Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund About the Client This client is a healthcare and medical services organization operating a Critical Access hospital in rural Montana, serving the surrounding community with inpatient and specialty care across 22 staffed beds.
