Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans based on best practices and clinical evidence.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education, to facilitate healing and functional recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to align with patient goals and rehabilitation milestones.
• Provide mentorship and support to less experienced therapists, contributing to a culture of learning and excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and general musculoskeletal disorders. Therapists will engage with patients of varying age groups, customizing interventions to meet each person's unique recovery needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Master's Degree or clinical certifications are preferred.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in Florida or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated strong clinical decision-making skills and exceptional communication abilities both with patients and within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred, with a proven record of effective treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Body System Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
