Expiration Date: 05/31/2029 Position: Sales Clerk (2) Tickets Salary: $15.00/hour Join our team as a Sales Clerk serving the brave men and women of the military and their families! In this dynamic role, you'll provide exceptional customer service, assist with product selection, and ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers.

DUTIES:

Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, and assist with merchandise selection. React promptly to customer concerns with a sense of importance. Sell merchandise and provide outstanding customer service, including demonstrating and explaining technical features of items sold. Perform periodic stock counts, replenish stock, and keep merchandise neat and presentable. Advise supervisor/department head of customer requests. Receive cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards; give accurate change in the cash register. Maintain sales records, close sales shift balances, and account for all monies and items sold. Perform price changes, markdowns, and mark-ups, and set company promotions. Ensure promotions are properly displayed to customers through signage and label changes. Follow all loss‑prevention policies and be aware of shrink and Alert Line procedures. Follow all established safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements. Required to work weekends. Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Minimum: Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons, and operate a cash register. Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and explain product literature; and perform basic arithmetic for inventory purposes, evidenced by high school coursework, a GED, or high school diploma. Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds; stand for long periods of time. Preferred (in addition to the minimum): Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience.
