SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK

Job Title Job Duties:Maintain a loading dock in good order, including all necessary labels, equipment, materials and suppliesPerform various tasks in our ERP softwarePackage outgoing shipments and parcelsSelect appropriate carriers/truckers to fill needs, both domestic and international and complete necessary shipping documentationTrack shipments as neededLift and move heavy items/packages as requiredUse a computer as needed for email, internet information and use Microsoft Office documents to create entries and maintain an electronic log of incoming and outgoing packagesRequisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stockMaintain in-house vendor inventoryBring ideas for company improvements to the attention of managementPerforms other duties as requestedJob Requirements:1+ years of shipping and receiving experience is preferred.Must have experience working with minimal supervision.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.Must be computer literate and able to learn new software apps.Must be able to lift and move heavy boxes and parts up to 50 lbs.Education, License & Certifications:Must be a high school graduate.Must have a valid driver's license.Forklift certification preferred.
