Items Analyst - Level 2 | Lockheed Martin You will be the Items Analyst – Level 2 for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics program, responsible for supporting global military operations through superior sustainment performance. What You Will Be Doing As the Items Analyst – Level 2 you will ensure timely availability of materials that keep aircraft mission‑ready, collaborate across functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory, and implement improvements that enhance fleet availability. Responsibilities Monitor and manage inventory levels to guarantee material availability for aircraft maintenance. Analyze supply and demand data to forecast requirements and mitigate potential shortages. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, engineering, and operations to resolve supply‑chain constraints. Develop and execute strategies that optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve fleet readiness. Track material flow and performance metrics to support timely execution of logistics plans. Leverage data analytics and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations. Support the implementation of innovative technologies and tools that enhance supply planning and inventory visibility. Contribute to the development of process documentation, training materials, and reporting tools to support operational excellence. Qualifications U.S. citizenship required – interim Secret clearance to be obtained. Strong problem‑solving skills and keen eye for detail. Experience with data tools or programming languages such as Tableau, SQL, Python, or MS Excel. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. Work Schedule Part‑time remote telework and part‑time on‑site at a Lockheed Martin facility. Weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Benefits & Salary Competitive base salary ranges from $60,600 to $120,750 depending on location.
