Field Marketing & Community Engagement Manager - Bloomfield

Position Overview the Manager Field Marketing is responsible for driving brand awareness and student recruitment through highly impactful and engaging community-focused event demonstrations around the local community including but not limited to, local high school presentations, campus events, industry-related events with employers, and community activations, such as car shows and festivals. This role is also responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with local employers, educational providers, and industry leaders, further helping to enhance the school's presence and influence within the community. Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000 Location: Hybrid - Bloomfield, NJ What We Offer: - Tuition Waiver: Enjoy a tuition waiver after 6 months of employment for you AND your immediate family offered at UTI and Concorde campuses - Paid Time Off: Competitive paid time off programs for employees (Vacation, Sick, Flexible) - Retirement Matching: 50% match on the first 6% of your contributions after 90 days - Paid Parental Leave: 4 weeks of paid leave for both birthing and non-birthing parents to bond with a new baby - Competitive Insurance: Health, vision, and dental coverage for you and your dependents - Pet Insurance: Competitive coverage for your furry family members through ASPCA - Health Plan Enrollment: Eligibility starts first of the month following completing one full month of employment What You’ll Do Schedule, coordinate and serve as representative for recruitment events, including career fairs, community festivals, dealership receptions, and campus open houses to include transporting company truck and trailer to events and setting up demonstrations Drive enrollment growth by identifying and engaging prospective students through events that deliver high-value leads, driving strong inquiry-to-start conversion rates Optimize event ROI by developing and executing local event strategies that generate the highest return on investment, including high school STEM demonstrations, employer-sponsored showcases, and campus-hosted experiences Build and leverage strategic partnerships by establishing strong relationships with industry partners, local employers, and high school staff to increase brand presence and student referrals Enhance event performance metrics through tracking and analyzing event success, measuring the impact on student inquiries, enrollments, and starts Collaborate with regional leaders to optimize strategies based on data insights Innovate and expand recruitment strategies by developing and testing new event formats and promotional tactics to continually improve student engagement and interest Deliver engaging presentations to include live demonstrations at high schools, community events and employer partner activations Establish strong relationships with industry partners, local employers, and high schools to increase brand presence and student referrals Safely operate a large company vehicle and tow a company trailer to and from events. Trailers may transport vehicles, demonstration equipment, event materials, and other company property. Perform hands-on event setup and breakdown, including loading, unloading, transporting, assembling, and positioning event materials, equipment, displays, and demonstration items. Deliver engaging presentations and live demonstrations at high schools, community events, industry events, and employer-partner activations. Ensure company vehicles, trailers, equipment, and event materials are safely secured, transported, maintained, and stored in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety requirements. Other duties as assigned Education / Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or event management (preferred) Minimum of three (3) years' experience in marketing or event management with a particular experience in onsite and offsite events (required) Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a cross-functional organizational environment (preferred) Minimum one (1) year experience with developing and negotiating sponsorship agreements (preferred) Minimum one (1) year of experience in event planning and execution background including lead generation (preferred) Knowledge of basic marketing & advertising disciplines (required) Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred) Licenses / Certifications Possess a valid state-issued driver's license; license class may vary based on state-specific requirements (required) Meet DOT requirements and pass a driving test (required) Skills Strong communication skills across all business channels Skilled in operating and driving large vehicles (class 3) Skill and comfort with public speaking and facilitating presentations Strong attention to detail and focus on execution, follow-up and measurement of event success through analyzing metrics Communicate orally and in writing Comfortable and proficient operating larger company vehicles and towing trailers in a variety of driving and parking environments. Comfortable transporting vehicles, equipment, and event materials using a company truck and trailer. Strong organizational and logistical skills related to event transportation, setup, breakdown, and equipment management. Ability and willingness to drive a large company truck and tow a trailer that may contain a vehicle, equipment, or event materials. Ability to safely maneuver a truck and trailer in parking lots, event spaces, loading areas, and other environments associated with field events. Ability to perform physical activities associated with event setup and breakdown, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling Ability to work extended periods on one's feet during events, presentations, demonstrations, and event setup/breakdown. Ability to work independently in field environments while exercising sound judgment and following established safety procedures. Ability and willingness to travel locally and overnight up to 80% based on business and event needs. Work Environment This is a highly mobile, field-based position that requires frequent travel to high schools, community events, employer locations, industry events, festivals, car shows, and other off-site locations. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, temperatures, noise levels, crowds, uneven surfaces, and active event environments. This position is designated as hybrid; however, due to the field-based nature of the role, employees will spend significant time traveling to and working at off-site events, community locations, and Company campuses. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for hybrid work eligibility and participation. Work environments may vary and include student learning environments, outdoor events, and other community or industry locations. Employees must follow all Company and site-specific safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment when required.
