Step into a rewarding opportunity as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from ages 3 through 8th grade. This contract position runs from August 4 through June 4, and offers the chance to make a major impact within an energetic school environment near Palo Alto, CA. Your day will run from 8:00 to 4:00, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch built into your 37.5-hour workweek.

As the driving force behind communication development for a diverse caseload of up to 55 students, you’ll utilize your clinical expertise while building meaningful connections with children, families, and educational staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid SLP credential required for school-based settings
• Previous experience providing speech and language services to school-aged children
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to manage caseload and create IEPs
• Bilingual skills are highly preferred, though not mandatory

Your Role Will Include:

• Delivering direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
• Developing and implementing IEP goals in partnership with specialized education staff
• Progress monitoring and timely completion of evaluations, documentation, and reports
• Consulting and training teachers and families to maximize student progress
• Creating a welcoming, supportive atmosphere that celebrates each student’s growth
