Join us to do meaningful work that changes the world and helps shape what’s next for everyone. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret project data to provide recommendations and strategic recommendations for datacenter-related operations models, support, and implementation plansInterpret customer requirements as they relate to standard operating procedures and drive parity between the twoCollaborate across internal groups, external suppliers, and customersDocument and improve processes around planning, implementation, operations, confidentiality, security, and compliance to ensure the work that is being done is securely, compliantly, efficiently, and per standardsRepresent Microsoft in engagements with internal/external entities and the U.S. GovernmentParticipate in technical communities to stay informed of effective practices and changes within the broader discipline and share them with the organizationDevelop, create, implement, and support physical and operations security (OPSEC) policies, plans, and processes internal security and compliance teams that allow Datacenter Operations to operate in a manner that is compliant with relevant U.S. Government (and/or other unique environment) security standards and requirements for the operation of highly confidential and regulated projectsEmpower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of datacenter activities Establish and enhance working relationships with customers Create and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on time delivery Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end project plans with stakeholders and teams Perform day-to-day project check-in and update accordingly to manage project delivery and quality Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolutionGather and provide feedback on lessons learned, effective practices, and innovations on process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity Work with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC Build Managers, and Regional Technical Infrastructure Managers during project planning and executionLearn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required pre-offer and post-hire for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, STEM college degree or certification in IT with equivalent work experience2+ years of experience evaluating, testing, implementing, certifying, and accrediting classified and sensitive but unclassified information systems for both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) softwareExperience with the analysis and evaluation of hardware in support of the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense, and other Federal Government AgenciesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environmentPerform and execute organization’s safety programs and policies, and compliance knowledge assessments#COICareers Data Center Operations Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,600 - $202,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,500 - $225,800 per year.
