Embrex Operations Manager

Lead and support daily Embrex (in-ovo vaccination) operations. Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for all Embrex equipment. Accurately mix vaccines according to company and manufacturer guidelines. Monitor machine performance and address basic troubleshooting needs. Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area and equipment. Conduct daily team huddles to communicate goals, expectations, and safety reminders. Assign tasks and ensure team coverage throughout the shift. Support and enforce company policies, including My Brother's Keeper (MBK) and other safety initiatives. Maintain production and vaccination accuracy records using basic computer systems. Support hatchery production flow and assist in other duties as assigned by management.

Provide clear direction and support to a team of up to 10 employees. Promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety. Lead by example in work ethic, attitude, and compliance. Address performance concerns in a professional and constructive manner. Ensure open communication between team members and leadership.

Basic computer skills (data entry, system navigation). General math and writing skills. Ability to reach, lift, and work in a physically active environment. This includes but is not limited to: bending and twisting motions, repetitive reaching and lifting of a maximum of 40 lbs., requires constant standing and walking, ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures. Ability to work independently and manage a team.

Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday. Hours: 5:00 PM 3:00 AM. Note: Shift may run longer or shorter based on production needs.
