Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum 1 year required, 2 years preferred License: Must have state RN license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience required Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for various aspects of patient care in a medical surgical setting. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The nurse will be required to float as needed throughout the unit. The following certifications are required: BLS and ACLS. Experience with telemetry is preferred. All nurses will be responsible for tracheostomy care and management. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Charting will be done using the Epic system. Travel nurses are welcomed to apply. Candidates must not have any license hits. The selected candidate must be able to adhere to compliance and scheduling requirements. All requirements must be met, and applicants are encouraged to apply if they meet the qualifications.
