Talent Acquisition Specialist

Tax Network USA is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and personable Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Encino, CA. In this role, you will support and manage recruiting activities across multiple departments, working closely with HR and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source qualified candidates, conduct initial interviews, coordinate the interview process, and maintain an active and organized candidate pipeline. This is a hands-on talent acquisition role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of open positions and proactively identify qualified candidates, not simply review incoming applications. You should be comfortable sourcing talent, reaching out to prospective candidates, conducting phone and virtual interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and maintaining consistent follow-up throughout the hiring process. Excellent communication skills are essential for this position. As one of the first representatives of Tax Network USA that candidates interact with, you must be able to communicate professionally, confidently, and clearly by phone, video, email, and in person. Key Responsibilities Partner with HR and hiring managers to understand position requirements, qualifications, and hiring priorities. Create, post, update, and maintain job advertisements across LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms. Proactively source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, resume databases, job boards, referrals, and other sourcing channels. Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet position requirements. Conduct initial phone screens and virtual interviews with prospective candidates. Assess candidates based on experience, qualifications, communication skills, availability, compensation expectations, and overall alignment with the position. Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear and useful screening notes. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Maintain consistent and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process. Manage candidate pipelines and ensure candidates progress through each stage of the hiring process efficiently. Follow up with hiring managers regarding interviews, feedback, and next steps. Assist with offer preparation and communication with selected candidates. Support reference checks, background checks, pre-employment requirements, and other hiring-related processes. Maintain accurate and organized recruiting records and candidate documentation. Track open positions, candidate activity, interviews, offers, and hiring progress. Develop sourcing strategies for specialized or difficult-to-fill positions. Maintain a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Assist HR with additional talent acquisition and hiring initiatives as needed. 2+ years of professional recruiting or talent acquisition experience. Demonstrated experience proactively sourcing candidates rather than relying exclusively on inbound applications. Experience conducting candidate phone screens and interviews. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong phone presence with the ability to confidently lead screening conversations with candidates at varying professional levels. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with candidates and hiring managers. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple open positions and candidate pipelines simultaneously. Strong follow-through and the ability to independently keep recruiting processes moving. Ability to professionally communicate with candidates, hiring managers, HR, and company leadership. Ability to appropriately handle confidential candidate, compensation, and employment information. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing hiring priorities. Experience using LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and other recruiting tools.
