Activities Coordinator

Full time/Any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Assignment Details

Minimum three (3) years of experience required.

Requirements

• Must have MDS experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers certification required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience planning and coordinating a comprehensive Activity Program to enhance the social, recreational, physical, educational, and spiritual needs of patients/residents.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and administrative practices related to activity programs.
• Ability to supervise, direct the work of subordinates, and conduct training programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct an activity program to meet patients'/residents' needs through meaningful activity.
• Enable patients/residents to maintain dignity and fullest mental and physical capacity.
• Conduct assessments and develop programs tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor performance improvements and manage budgets.
• Manage personnel related to activity programs.
