Speech Language Pathologist - Hybrid Acute Care and OP Pediatrics

Speech Language Pathologist – Providence St. Mary Medical Center Location: Apple Valley, CA. This full‑time position works 8‑hour day shifts. Responsibilities Evaluates, plans, directs, and administers medically prescribed speech/language pathology programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Performs administrative duties and participates in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety, and Education programs. May be assigned to orient staff and students and to assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the supervisor’s absence. Required Qualifications Graduate of a Speech‑Language Pathology and Audiology Board training program. California Speech‑Language Pathologist License upon hire. National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications California Children’s Services (CCS) paneling upon hire. Experience in acute care, outpatient, adult or pediatrics. Pay Range and Benefits Base pay range: $48.79 – $75.74 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
