Parents increasingly focus on early education rather than simple "day-care" – this secular trend is resulting in a shift in consumer preference towards more educationally focused childcare offerings.The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Early Learning Academies division and serve as a key strategic partner in financial planning, resource allocation, operational performance management, and growth initiatives. This role will work closely with leadership, operations, accounting, and finance teams to deliver actionable insights that drive informed business decisions and support the organization's continued expansion.The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business recommendations. This individual will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, operational improvement, and evaluating strategic growth opportunities.This is a hybrid position located in McLean, Virginia.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Partner with multiple departments to curate information, deliver key insights and provide strategic perspectives; provide actionable recommendations based on data and performance objectivesBuild financial models and sensitivity analyses to determine forecasted revenue, costs, and profitability for various scenarios and new growth initiativesPrepare and coordinate materials for Executive management to effectively communicate company's strategy and performanceLead monthly rolling forecasts, quarterly outlooks, and annual budget process. Perform analysis to understand and communicate variances while working to improve forecasting methodsIdentify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of work through AI-driven solutionsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Proven track record of translating complex and fragmented data sets to meaningful insights and recommendationsIndependent and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment fueled by inorganic growthBA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar discipline with analytical biasMinimum of 3 years' experience including financial modeling, planning and decision supportAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; highly proficient in other Microsoft applicationsExperience with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights, including OfficeConnect) & NetSuite (strongly preferred), or other financial planning and ERP platformsAbility to adhere to strict deadlines and attention to detailExcellent communication skills – written and verbalTravel <10%Compensation and Benefits: The compensation and benefits information below is accurate as of the date of this posting.
