Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical assessments and medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions, interpreting lab results and medical imaging
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement personalized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide critical intraoperative support, ensuring proper patient positioning and assisting with surgical instruments
• Ensure comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, including managing medications, wound care, discharge plans, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgical practices

Required Certifications

• Valid PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

• Strong grasp of surgical methods and sterile techniques
