Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with one of New England's leading healthcare organizations on their search for a Payroll Specialist, in Malden, MA. This company offers a variety of exposure to both accounting and finance functions and the opportunity to work for a very unique and fast-paced department.
About the Company Seeking a Payroll Specialist:
- Work for one of New England's leading healthcare organizations, and make an impact!
- They have been in operation for almost 30 years
- Recently received recognition for their support of immigrant communities in Massachusetts
- Working on a team of 5, the Payroll Specialist will collaborate and also be able to suggest process improvement
- Hybrid work schedule
- Processing payroll for 1,000 employees including:
- Checking and auditing time sheets
- Processing any amended timecards
- Managing file upkeep in accordance with local, state, and federal payroll compliance
- Create weekly tax deposits
- Answering employee questions regarding paychecks
- Collaborating with the Team Lead, processing paid time off accrual based on union contracts
- 3+ years' experience in payroll processing
- Union payroll processing is a plus but not a requirement
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree is a plus, but will not be accepted in lieu of experience for the Payroll Specialist
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $80,000
