We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Dental Front Desk Receptionist / Insurance Billing Coordinator to join our busy Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent patient service, and accurate insurance processing.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Handle patient billing, collect payments, and discuss financial responsibilities
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Manage front office tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental, oral surgery, or medical office preferred
- Knowledge of dental/medical insurance billing and claims processing
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with practice management software is a plus
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
