Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time Schedule: 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour Night shifts (1900-0730) Location: Scripps Memorial La Jolla, NST ICU This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K. In the 30-bed Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU (NST ICU), our highly engaged Registered Nurses are part of a Model Care Team, focused on excellent standardized practices and evidence-based patient-centered care. NST ICU specializes in caring for acute patients with a variety of disease states. As a destination center for higher level of Neuro-Surgical Trauma care in Southern California, NST ICU implements progressive programs and therapies. As a member of our team, you will gain experience in:

• Trauma surgery care, trauma care, or care of critically injured trauma patient
• Comprehensive Stroke Care
• Neurosurgery EVD, Camino, Licox, Lumbar drain
• Interventional Radiology
• Shock and advanced resuscitation measures
• Mechanical circulatory support
• CRRT, MTP, Target Temperature Management

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care within the scope of your practice.
• Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
• With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
