We are hiring for Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week.

$7,500 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Leads a group of laboratory employees working on a particular shift. Coordinates daily operations of the clinical laboratory/section. Serves as a resource to laboratory staff and physicians for the resolution of unusual problems or unexpected circumstances (both technical and non-technical).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or education and training equivalent to the requirements for a B.S. degree in a biological or chemistry specialty
• Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist American Society for Clinical Pathology or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist American Medical Technologists or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist American Society for Clinical Pathology
• 1 year of clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership or supervisory experience
