Senior Project Accountant

RealREPP is a nationally recognized, full-service recruitment firm who has teamed up with a growing, stable, and dynamic MEP Design Build Construction firm to assist them in hiring a Senior Project Accountant in undefined, undefined. Responsibilities Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements for more complex accounts. Monitors budgets and commitments, processing subcontractor and vendor invoices, preparing drafts of owner invoices, and resolving issues. Partners with the project manager and other team members to monitor overall job financial status. Collaborates by preparing for and attending progress and division meetings. Prepares monthly reports with current estimates and identifies risks or opportunities. Prepares special analyses as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent preferred. 5+ years of Project Accounting experience preferred. Experience in construction preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to transfer knowledge to junior level staff.
