About the Team

The Platform Innovation team leads the strategy, launch, and scaling of our client's emerging initiatives for its white-label restaurants business .

About the Role

Our Client is looking for a Launch Specialist to travel to restaurants to onboard them to their products and enhance their experience throughout their lifecycle on the platform.

You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Operations, Product, and Analytics teams to create a seamless and engaging merchant experience. You will report to the Onboarding Lead for your geographic area within the Platform Operations organization.

This is a partially remote, partially in-office, and heavily travel-based role , requiring regular travel to merchant restaurant locations within your region and across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface directly with merchant restaurants and continuously work to improve their experience.
• Create and execute merchant onboarding strategies that deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
• Perform significant hands-on, in-store work , including training restaurant staff on how to effectively use new platforms.
• Develop merchant training materials that improve staff understanding and product adoption.
• Learn DoorDash software configurations and oversee implementation of digital ordering and SaaS tools .
• Identify opportunities to improve existing merchant workflows , increase adoption, and maximize revenue.
• Deliver immediate results while adapting to an evolving and fast-paced environment.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and help shape the direction of the company.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in restaurant/bar management, customer support, or hospitality.
• Strong ability to complete tasks accurately, effectively, and on time , with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent internal and external customer support skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully cross-functionally with multiple departments.
• Naturally proactive and comfortable operating at a detailed, hands-on level.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license .

Key Role Priorities

1. Restaurant Management - Highest Priority

• The candidate's core background should be entirely focused on restaurant operations/management .
• Strong restaurant management experience is more important than technical or POS installation experience.
• Technical/POS installation experience is not required.

2. Tech Savviness

• Must be intellectually curious and technically adept .
• Candidates should demonstrate natural comfort with technology.
• Preference for restaurant managers who have used, configured, or helped implement POS systems during their management experience.

3. Travel & Mobility

• High mobility and frequent travel flexibility are essential.
• Candidates must be comfortable regularly traveling to merchant restaurant locations within their region and potentially across the country .

Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest candidate will be an experienced Restaurant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, District/Area Manager, or Operations Manager with a hands-on restaurant operations background, strong customer-service skills, comfort with technology/POS systems, excellent attention to detail, and the flexibility to travel extensively
