Inventory Associate

This recognition reflects our commitment to a supportive culture and putting our people first, as well as the immeasurable dedication of all our employees.Grand Appliance is hiring for a full-time Inventory Associate, who will be responsible for working with vendors to coordinate returns, participate in weekly cycle counts, work cross-functionally with departments such as sales, service, and product management to move excess, obsolete, and uncrated products. This position is located at our Sturtevant, WI warehouse and is a full-time role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. On days with cycle counts, those hours are 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. There are also alternating Saturdays every other week, with one day off during the week when working Saturday.ResponsibilitiesVerifies the accuracy of receipts, transfer, etc., by conducting detail audits of the product inventory on a regular basisConstantly monitors the movement of the inventory and identifies if there are any shortages that are seen when compared with the physical inventory dataVerifies the descriptions of various products, their condition, amount, etc., and completes all the related paperworkPerforms physical count of inventoryReconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reportsSchedules transfersReceives all inventoryRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent is requiredProfessional communication skills and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsHighly proficient in the MS Office Suite with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to work under pressure or deadlines and handle multiple prioritiesAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate mannerProfessional appearance and courteous mannerAttention to detailWithin established guidelines makes independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling own workCompetitive Wages, Benefits, and Growth OpportunitiesWe understand that our employees are the backbone of our success, and we are committed to providing them with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits packages.
