Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Transplant Surgery

Location - Indianapolis, IN

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist with recent liver transplant experience to support a high-volume transplant and specialty surgery program. Candidates must be able to independently scrub liver recipient transplant procedures.

Required Certifications

• BCLS
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 Years of Surgical Technologist Experience
• Recent Liver Transplant Experience (Required)
• Ability to Independently Scrub Liver Recipient Transplants

Equipment Experience

• Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for complex surgical procedures
• Independently scrub and assist during liver transplant surgeries
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique and infection prevention standards
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and specialty equipment
• Support multidisciplinary surgical teams during high-acuity cases
• Participate in call coverage and holiday rotations as required
