Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based environment near Loves Park, IL. The position is full-time, with three openings available, working onsite for 37.5 hours per week. Orientation is scheduled for August 3 and 4, 2026, and students start on August 10, 2026, with the assignment finishing on May 21, 2027. Caseloads are thoughtfully matched to your preference for working with specific age groups, making this an ideal setting for maximizing your impact and professional satisfaction.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current OT licensure (or eligibility) in Illinois
• Experience or strong interest in providing occupational therapy within a school-based environment
• Effective communication, collaborative mindset, and adaptability
• Dedication to promoting student independence and educational access

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver evidence-based OT assessments and interventions to support student learning and independence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Participate in monthly meetings, colleague roundtables, and process improvement initiatives
• Engage in regular 1:1 check-ins and team meetings with your supervisor and leaders
• Document services efficiently and contribute to annual performance reviews
• Use school-provided testing materials and technology to facilitate effective therapeutic services
