For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work. **Job Title**:Staff Systems Engineer**Reporting To:**Mgr., Staff Engineering**Work Schedule:**Onsite – Buffalo, NY The **Advanced Technology and Engineering Programs (ATEP)** team of **Moog Space and Defense Group’s** **Defense sector** is looking for a **Staff Systems Engineer** to work on its efforts in maturing technologies in the autonomous undersea/surface domain.This exciting opportunity will involve the selection, design and build of all the systems for this vehicle. It will also involve in-water testing of vehicles and will occasionally require travel to perform vehicle testing.**ATEP’s** focus is to accelerate innovation and develop the next generation of capabilities by pursuing the development of new products and taking them to TRL 5/6. Following that they are transitioned into business units to be matured and scaled. ATEP has a fail-fast culture, building prototype products to develop/test new capabilities. The focus is on getting hardware into live test scenarios rather than dotting i’s and crossing t’s.The **Staff Systems Engineer** is initially responsible for leading the definition, design and development of the propulsion and fin CAS systems as well as integration into the energy, control and ancillary systems. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
