Requirements Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online required Solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Payroll processing experience preferred Knowledge of sales tax and basic tax reporting preferred Experience working in a small business environment is a plus Benefits Strong Weekly Pay. A steady path to grow in your Bookkeeper career Job Duties Record and maintain daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records to ensure accuracy Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets Process payroll and ensure timely, accurate employee paymentsTrack expenses, budgets, and cash flow activity Maintain organized financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Support tax preparation by organizing and maintaining financial records Identify, investigate, and resolve financial discrepancies in a timely manner Provide accurate financial information to support business operations and decision making Staffmark is an equal opportunity employer.
