Work Environment

This position is onsite at our fully equipped hospital facility, where collaboration among healthcare professionals is paramount. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, and other therapists, all working towards the common goal of optimizing patient recovery and well-being. The typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. This structured schedule allows for a good work-life balance while meeting the demands of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, technologies, modalities, and hands-on techniques as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitor and document patient progress, noting changes in condition and reporting these to your supervising therapist.
• Engage patients in their rehabilitation by motivating them, clarifying points of confusion, and addressing any concerns they may have about their treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all health information regulations.
• Assist in the setup and clean-up of treatment areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment at all times.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment updates, and collaborative care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily be on adult patients undergoing recovery from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those facing chronic pain conditions. You'll utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to help restore function and reduce pain, ensuring that each patient feels supported and empowered throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also managing patient care independently

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically in a hospital or rehabilitation environment.
• Experience working with orthopedic and chronic pain patients is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
