Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist Assistant with us, you will be working in a vibrant hospital environment equipped with advanced rehabilitation equipment and a supportive team of healthcare professionals. Your schedule will primarily be from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate the needs of our patients and clinic operations. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans designed to enhance mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities aimed at promoting physical well-being, mobility, and pain relief.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, tailoring home exercise programs that support their recovery and rehabilitation goals.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress, tracking metrics like range of motion, strength improvements, and overall functional outcomes.
• Organize treatment areas, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for effective therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate holistic patient care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Provide empathetic emotional support throughout the rehabilitation journey, fostering a motivating atmosphere for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A valid state license or certification, demonstrating compliance with state regulations for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• A strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions, specifically related to physical therapy practice.
• Proficiency in administering therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits
