Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of individual patients to design effective treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, addressing their orthopedic challenges.
• Implement a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery and enhance patients' strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Instruct patients on proper body mechanics and strategies for sustaining long-term movement health, including injury prevention techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress closely, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, and collaborating with fellow healthcare practitioners to optimize outcomes.
• Engage patients during each session, fostering a supportive relationship that motivates them on their journey towards improved health.
• Provide education on the value of rehabilitation, encompassing feedback on their recovery journey to bolster confidence and adherence to treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Fit To Stretch Rehab Center, you will work primarily with adult patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative conditions, sports-related ailments, and chronic pain disorders. Our patient population varies widely, providing rich, diverse interaction opportunities and challenges that make every day rewarding.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be preferred.
• Current Nevada Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy techniques relevant to orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to create effective, individualized treatment plans and modify them based on patient progress.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate and motivate patients, as well as document care thoroughly.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably within an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Knowledge of current best practices and trends in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to work in Fast-paced environments, tackling a diverse range of cases and promoting therapeutic excellence.
