Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals.

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities tailored to each patient's condition and progress.

• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on evidence-based practices and clinical outcomes.

• Provide guidance and supervision to rehabilitation assistants and therapy aides, ensuring the delivery of consistent and compliant care.

• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and self-management strategies to promote recovery and prevent further injuries.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and nurses, to implement cohesive patient care strategies.

• Participate in continuing education opportunities and practice regular skills enhancement to stay updated with the latest physical therapy advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work primarily with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be key in managing patient pain, restoring mobility, and improving functional abilities through tailored rehabilitation programs. You will engage with diverse demographics, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current Physical Therapist licensure in the State of Nevada.

• Certification in CPR as provided by the American Heart Association.

• Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and performing clinical evaluations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, emphasizing a patient-centered approach.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.

• Experience working with a diverse range of orthopedic diagnoses and familiarity with evidence-based physical therapy practices.

• Previous experience supervising or mentoring rehabilitation staff, enhancing team performance and patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Vital Body Wellness offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
