Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screenings and evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations using evidence-based practices.

• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs, ensuring ongoing adjustments based on their progress.

• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, expected outcomes, and home exercises to foster their involvement in the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, treatment interventions, and patient progress in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy and participate in professional development activities to enhance your therapeutic techniques and knowledge.

• Actively engage in team meetings to discuss treatment success stories, share insights, and collectively address challenges to improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with diverse patients experiencing a wide range of orthopedic issues, from acute injuries to chronic conditions. By leveraging your skills, you will empower patients from different age groups to regain their independence and functionality. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

• A valid and active Physical Therapist license for the State of Nevada.

• Current certification in CPR as a Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.

• Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment safely and performing fundamental functional evaluations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required, applicants with a strong background in outpatient settings or specialized certifications in orthopedics will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
