Position Overview Cornerstone Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to become an integral part of our outpatient office team located in the Durango section of Las Vegas, NV. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in helping patients restore their mobility and improve their quality of life following orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or medical conditions. Here, you will work closely alongside fellow physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff within an integrated healthcare setting that emphasizes communication and shared goals for patient wellness.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with patients' goals, focusing on restoration of function and pain relief.

Deliver hands-on therapeutic services for a diverse range of orthopedic and sports injuries, including post-operative rehabilitation.

Educate patients on self-care strategies and exercises to enhance recovery and prevent re-injury.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and reporting.

Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's unique situation.

Our primary patient demographic consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Patients range from active adults to senior populations, each with distinct rehabilitation needs. Your role will be pivotal in tailoring interventions that support athletes in returning to competitive activities while also assisting older adults in regaining mobility and independence.

Licensed Physical Therapist in Nevada with an active license.

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is the minimum requirement; however, a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is preferred.

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, specifically in orthopedics or sports rehabilitation.

Proficiency in assessment and management of orthopedic conditions and manual therapy techniques.

Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, preferably WebPT, for documentation and patient tracking.

Advanced certification in orthopedic physical therapy is a plus.
