Perfect Balance Rehab Center is actively seeking a dedicated Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to be an integral part of our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on care to patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and mobility challenges. You will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence through personalized rehabilitation plans.

Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite in our well-equipped rehabilitation center, which features modern therapy rooms, rehabilitation equipment, and supportive technology designed to enhance patient recovery. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with normal business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This structured environment encourages teamwork among clinical staff including therapists, assistants, and administrative personnel, ensuring both professional growth and the highest standard of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' mobility and functional capacities, developing customized rehabilitation plans that outline specific goals and interventions.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Monitor patients' progress on a regular basis, adjusting treatment plans based on observed developments and patient feedback to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on the intricacies of their conditions, including recommended exercises, safety measures, and best practices for at-home care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, discussing cases in team meetings as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus within the center is on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse group of patients ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals navigating post-surgical rehabilitation for orthopedic procedures. Additionally, we cater to clients experiencing chronic pain or post-traumatic complications, and our treatment approaches are always tailored to meet the unique needs of every patient.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice physical therapy in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, specifically in an outpatient or orthopedic context is preferred.
