Work Environment

This position is located in a bustling outpatient clinic setting in North Las Vegas, where you will work directly with patients in a one-on-one format. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and resources that enable therapists to deliver comprehensive assessments and effective treatment plans. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, emphasizing a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical assessments to develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific orthopedic needs.
• Provide hands-on, evidence-based therapy for various orthopedic conditions, incorporating advanced techniques, particularly in post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Utilize manual therapy modalities and exercise regimens to facilitate faster recovery and effective pain management, ensuring patients receive focused attention during each session.
• Treat one patient per hour, maintaining a consistent patient care flow without the assistance of aides or techs, to ensure personalized treatment and optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient recovery paths and enhance collaboration within patient care.
• Participate in a structured mentorship program, working alongside experienced fellowship-trained therapists, to advance clinical skills and enhance your effectiveness as a practitioner.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will treat a diverse group of patients, including post-surgical recovery cases, athletes, and individuals from various backgrounds seeking to regain their functional abilities and active lifestyles. Our patient roster includes those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions, necessitating a tailored rehabilitative approach to facilitate their progress and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active physical therapy license in Nevada is required.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families, ensuring they are informed and involved in their treatment journey.
• Ability to operate independently while also contributing as an integral member of our collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, providing candidates with relevant clinical exposure and skillset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
