Work Environment

This position takes place in an onsite home care setting, giving you the unique opportunity to work in the comfort of patients' homes while utilizing advanced treatment methodologies. You'll thrive in an outpatient orthopedic clinic where we bring effective rehabilitation practices directly to those who need it most. Your typical work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of our patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop customized treatment strategies that cater to their needs.
• Administer hands-on therapy that includes manual techniques, exercise prescriptions, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create multidisciplinary care plans, ensuring an integrated approach to patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress rigorously; adjust treatment plans accordingly based on measurable outcomes and patient feedback.
• Provide patient education focused on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and long-term wellness plans to empower individuals in maintaining their health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on diverse patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. This includes working with individuals experiencing mobility issues due to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and age-related physical decline. Your ability to connect with patients and understand their unique challenges ensures their rehabilitation process is as effective as possible.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• A current Nevada Physical Therapy license, or the capacity to acquire one promptly, is required.
• A strong patient-first philosophy is essential to deliver high-quality care that prioritizes the well-being of our patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, with a focus on outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
