Work Environment

This position operates primarily onsite within our well-established rehabilitation facilities throughout Las Vegas. You will have access to modern clinical spaces, equipped with the latest therapeutic modalities and technology. Your standard working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which enables a healthy work-life balance while being pivotal in patient recovery efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, personalized physical therapy services to patients, adjusting treatment plans based on individual needs and clinical outcomes.
• Seamlessly adapt to various electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinic workflows, ensuring efficient patient documentation and communication.
• Provide coverage for staff PTs who are on vacation or leave, as well as during peak patient volume periods, maintaining continuity of care.
• Collaborate proactively with referring physicians, clinic directors, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to craft comprehensive care strategies that optimize patient recovery.
• Engage in system-wide meetings and continuing education sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Floater Physical Therapist for orthopedic outpatient clinics, you will work with a diverse array of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation cases, and individuals seeking pain management solutions. Your exposure to various demographics will enrich your clinical experience and enable you to tailor your therapeutic approaches effectively.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Must be licensed or license-eligible to practice in Nevada.
• Demonstrated clinical reasoning and adaptability to blend successfully into different team dynamics.
• A valid driver's license with a willingness to travel between clinic sites as needed.
• Commitment to providing evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes.
• Experience in orthopedic or sports therapy is highly valued.
• Possession of OCS or a keen interest in obtaining specialty certifications is a plus.
• Familiarity with various EMR systems to streamline patient management is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of applicable clinical experience, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
