Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our reputable Rehabilitation Center located in Henderson, Nevada, a suburban area of Las Vegas. In this role, you will work closely with a team of experienced Physical Therapists (PTs) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to provide high-quality care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic-related issues, including upper extremity and hand dysfunctions.
• Design, implement, and assess individualized treatment plans that set measurable functional and rehabilitative goals tailored to each patient's needs.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and specialized equipment to enhance recovery and improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment protocols, ensuring alignment with the latest clinical guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, progress, and rehabilitation exercises, while providing motivation and support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, exchanging insights and strategies that contribute to overall patient success and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on an adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient demographic, requiring sensitivity to their varying psychosocial needs and environmental conditions. You will encounter patients with diverse conditions stemming from sports injuries, surgical recoveries, chronic pain, and various orthopedic challenges. Your approach must adapt according to the individual's developmental stage and level of understanding, ensuring effective communication and engagement.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.
• A master's degree (MSPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• At least one year of experience in a clinical environment, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities and their application in an outpatient setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to motivate and educate patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a multidisciplinary clinic setting, collaborating with medical professionals from various specialties.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
