Work Environment

This position is fully onsite in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, where you will provide in-home therapy services. Working closely with patients in their own environments allows you to tailor therapy to their specific daily challenges and routines. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical health, limitations, and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on the evaluation findings, focusing on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing daily functioning.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques to address orthopedic and sports-related injuries while educating patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Continuously assess and track treatment outcomes, adjusting methodologies based on patient feedback and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a diverse client demographic that includes post-operative patients, individuals with chronic pain conditions, and those recovering from sports injuries. This role will involve direct interaction with patients of all ages, requiring the ability to establish rapport quickly and effectively, tailor therapy approaches, and adapt to varying patient motivations and support systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid and active Physical Therapy license in Nevada is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy is essential, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice is preferable.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home health or outpatient therapy setting.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly advantageous.
• Strong background in developing and delivering patient-centered care plans.

Compensation and Benefits
