Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough orthopedic evaluations, including functional assessments and movement analysis, to develop a deep understanding of each patient's condition.
• Create customized treatment plans that incorporate measurable goals, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines to optimize recovery.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities based on established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery strategies, injury prevention practices, and self-care techniques to empower them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain precise documentation of treatment sessions and patient progress within our intuitive electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance and quality care standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including physicians, surgeons, and athletic trainers, to coordinate effective treatment plans and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in continuing education opportunities and staying informed on the latest clinical techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults facing age-related musculoskeletal issues. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will address a diverse clientele, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of individuals at different ages and stages of recovery. You will also be influential in developing pre-surgical programs that set patients up for success post-procedure.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) designation from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess current or be eligible for licensure in Physical Therapy in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities, crucial for patient interaction and collaboration with team members.
• A genuine passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and a commitment to hands-on patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.
• Board certification in Orthopedics (OCS) is a plus, but not necessary for application.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
