Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Apply hands-on therapy techniques including manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
• Implement and monitor treatment strategies effectively, adjusting them as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation exercises, pain management, and strategies to maintain their progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment protocols, and outcomes in our electronic health record system to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to create a comprehensive care approach for each patient.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and technologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This diverse patient population requires a compassionate approach, as every individual's journey to recovery is unique. Your expertise will help facilitate their rehabilitation using personalized treatment protocols that account for their specific conditions and treatment histories.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active or license-eligible in the state of Nevada, ensuring compliance with local regulatory standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability to adapt treatments as needed to meet patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, ideally within outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based treatment protocols is a plus.
• Prior experience in educating patients and facilitating a collaborative care environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
