Work Environment

As a Staff Physical Therapist at Royal Heights, you will work onsite in our rehabilitation center, where you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities designed to promote recovery and wellness. Our typical work schedule operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to establish a baseline for patients' unique rehabilitation needs, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored appropriately.
• Implement hands-on therapeutic interventions, utilizing manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to facilitate patient recovery.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare specialists to coordinate holistic care approaches, ensuring continuity and efficiency of treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on their specific conditions, available treatments, and home exercise regimens to foster empowerment and promote adherence to therapy.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records through our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to support treatment planning and facilitate communication among team members.
• Participate in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and refine treatment strategies, contributing insights gained from clinical experiences.
• Engage in ongoing education and training initiatives to remain current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.
• Foster positive relationships with the community through outreach programs and involvement in local health initiatives, positioning the clinic as a trusted resource.
• Act as a mentor and trainer to new staff, providing guidance and support as they acclimate to our clinic's policies and procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working primarily with adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgeries, accidents, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will also have the chance to assist patients with neurological disorders and those requiring rehabilitation post-acute care. Your compassionate approach to patient care will play a crucial role in their individual recovery journeys, helping them regain strength and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) to practice in the state of Nevada is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in orthopedics, neurology, and general rehabilitation practices.
• A commitment to patient-centered care, showcasing excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Adeptness in working under pressure and managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality care.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates enthusiastic about learning are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
