Work Environment

This position is full-time and offers an onsite work setting within our bustling outpatient clinic. Our standard schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate physical functions and needs, identifying any limitations that may affect recovery.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting changes and modifying treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding injury prevention, effective post-treatment care, and strategies to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to guarantee a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, regulatory standards, and accurate record-keeping within the practice management system.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, though new graduates who possess relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in therapeutic techniques, particularly in manual therapy and functional movement assessments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective patient education and collaboration with team members.
